GED Integrated Online Solution combines the power of Contemporary's MHC Interactive: GED preparation software with Internet technology. Students can study for their GED in the classroom, at home on their computers or from multiple locations - anywhere there is an Internet Connection. Instructors can be confident that all student performance records and detailed, time-tracked, skill-based information are stored in a central database and can be viewed by instructors and administrators on any Internet-accessible computer. Powerful communication tools such as the messaging system and global bulletin board allow instructors to maintain contact with their students.

Software Driven Content

The software driven lessons and tests means that students don't have to worry about slow Internet connections interrupting their study. It also means that while inside the lessons and tests, student won't incur possible high Internet connection fees. Interactive features that use graphics, audio, and video can be delivered regardless of connection speed and students won't have to worry about Internet interruptions during testing or lesson study.

Internet Technology

GED Integrated Online Solution uses the Internet to transmit, store, and display student performance information so that it can be accessed by students and instructors where ever their is an Internet-connected computer. The GED Online Internet site also provides powerful communication tools so that instructors and students can stay connected.

Time-Tracked

GED Integrated Online Solution tracks students' educational time. If students working within the software don't touch their mouse or keyboard in a specified period of time, the program stops counting their educational time and prompts students to acknowledge their presence.

Communication Tools

Students and instructors can communicate through a private messaging system from within the software or GED Online Internet site. Messages sent from within a lesson will automatically code the students' exact location so instructors can refer back to where the student was. Instructors can also post global messages on the Message Board for all their students or just specific classes.

Virtual Seats

GED Integrated Online Solution uses virtual seats to provide student access into the program. Each seat is good for one year. If a student drops out of the program or completes his/her study in a short amount of time, just re-assign that seat to another student. There is no per student charge. As long as the seat has not reached its expiration date, it can be reassigned to another student.
